So, it has recently come to my attention that a lot of you don’t actually know much about me. Who I am, where I practice, and—wait for it—the fact that I am actually located in Georgetown, Ontario.

Even more shocking?

Many of you don’t know that I work remotely! That’s right, I could be in my comfy socks, sipping tea, and still be fully present for our session (okay, I am in my comfy socks, but that just makes me a better therapist, trust me).

Since we’re all about honesty and authenticity here, I figured it was time to pull back the curtain and properly introduce myself. So, let’s get into it!

Who Am I? (Besides Someone Who Overuses Parentheses)

I’m a therapist for women who feel like they should be happy—but, for some reason, aren’t.

You know the feeling: from the outside, everything looks fine. You have a job, a home, maybe a family, and yet…something feels off….

Maybe it’s anxiety that won’t quit. Maybe it’s unresolved trauma that keeps sneaking up at inconvenient moments. Maybe it’s this nagging feeling that they’re meant for more, but they have no idea what that more even is.

My clients are amazing women who have been “shoulding” all over themselves for years—

“I should be grateful.”

“I should have my life figured out by now.”

“I should be able to handle everything on my own.”

Sound familiar?

If it does, just know that you are not alone.

My goal is to help you work through all of that (without judgment) and start building a life that actually feels good, not just one that looks good on paper.

Where Do I Practice? (And More Importantly, Can You Work With Me?)

I am based in Georgetown, Ontario!

But before you start wondering if you have to battle traffic to get to my office, let me put your mind at ease—I work remotely.

That means you can have therapy from the comfort of your own home, your car (if that’s your thing), or even a place in nature you love. As long as you have an internet connection and privacy, you’re good to go.

Remote therapy is amazing for so many reasons:

  • No commuting (goodbye, parking stress!)
  • You can wear pajamas (honestly, I won’t judge)
  • You get to be in a space where you feel safe and comfortable
  • It makes therapy more accessible for people with busy schedules, kids, or just a deep hatred of winter driving

So, if you’re in Ontario, you can absolutely work with me! And yes, that includes if you’re in Toronto, Ottawa, or some tiny town that only you and the people who grew up there know exists.

How Do I Practice? (AKA What’s It Like to Work With Me?)

If you’re picturing therapy as a stiff, clinical experience where I sit in a chair, nod seriously, and ask, “And how does that make you feel?” every five minutes—think again.

Therapy with me is:

  • Conversational and relaxed. We’re just two humans talking.
  • A mix of deep work and humor. Sometimes we’ll have profound breakthroughs, and sometimes we’ll laugh about the absurdity of life. Both are important.
  • Compassionate and non-judgmental. You can tell me anything, and I mean anything—no shame, no guilt.
  • Focused on real-life strategies. We’ll absolutely dive into the emotional work, but we’ll also talk about practical things you can do today to feel better.

I truly believe therapy should feel like a safe space where you can be yourself, messy parts and all. And if you’re thinking, “But I don’t even know where to start,” don’t worry—I’ll help you figure it out.

So, Why Does This Matter?

Because therapy is personal. You’re not just choosing a professional; you’re choosing a person who you’ll be sharing your inner world with.

And that’s a big deal!

You should feel comfortable, understood, and—dare I say it—even enjoy the process (yes, therapy can actually be enjoyable!).

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just plain lost, I’m here. Whether you’re in Georgetown or anywhere in Ontario, we can connect, talk it out, and figure out your next steps together.

So, now that you know a little more about me, I’d love to know—what questions do you have? What’s been on your mind lately? Leave a comment below to book your free consultation or your question and let’s chat.

I am an open book and I am here to make your life easier.

Because you deserve support that actually feels like support, someone who is all about YOU and you alone.

Sending you lots of compassion.
