“I should be happy.”
“I have a good life, I should be grateful.”
“I should know what I’m doing by now.”
“I should be over this already.”

Sound familiar?

If so, you might be the kind of woman I work with every day and I say that with all the love and zero judgment. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned as a therapist, it’s that the “shoulds” are sneaky little joy-stealers. They keep you stuck in a loop of guilt, shame, and self-doubt, even when, on the outside, it looks like you’ve got it all together.

Here’s the truth: You can look like you’re managing just fine, handling work, family, relationships, responsibilities and still feel completely overwhelmed on the inside. And when that gap between how you’re perceived and how you actually feel gets too wide? That’s where anxiety, burnout, and emotional disconnection tend to show up.

So… who do I help?

I work with women who are DONE pretending everything is fine.
Women who are high-achieving, people-pleasing, over-functioning pros but deep down, feel lost, exhausted, or just not quite okay.
Women who’ve been through trauma, heartbreak, or chronic stress and haven’t felt truly safe in their own skin for years.
Women who have a hard time saying no, setting boundaries, or asking for what they need because they were never taught how.
Women who cry during commercials, carry the weight of everyone else’s emotions, and have an inner critic louder than their best friend’s Spotify playlist.

If this is you, I want you to know something: you’re not broken. You’re just human. And you’ve likely spent a lifetime surviving, adapting, and pushing through. Therapy isn’t about fixing you, it’s about helping you come back to yourself.

How I work

My approach to therapy is warm, relational, and very down-to-earth. If you’re looking for someone cold and clinical, that’s not me (and honestly, no one needs that kind of vibe when they’re talking about their deepest fears).

I show up as a real person in the room, one who laughs, sometimes swears, and definitely wecolmes and creates space for those big emotions. My clients often tell me they feel like they’re talking to a very wise, very calm friend. That’s the energy I try to bring. I want you to feel safe, seen, and supported as we navigate your story together.

I also work remotely, so you can do therapy in your comfiest sweatpants from the comfort of your home, no commute, no awkward waiting rooms, no small talk with strangers. I’m based in Georgetown, Ontario, and serve women all across the province.

Modalities I Use (aka, how we actually do the work)

There are lots of ways to approach therapy, but I lean into what I’ve found works best for the women I support:

Somatic EMDR
This is a body-based version of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Sounds fancy, but in practice, it means we process old trauma and stress by tuning into the body, where so much of that stuff gets stuck. You don’t have to rehash everything in detail, and it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Somatic EMDR helps you gently reprocess painful memories in a way that feels empowering and grounded.

Mindfulness and Nervous System Regulation
Your nervous system is kind of like your body’s internal alarm system. When it’s on high alert all the time, life feels overwhelming. I help you learn simple ways to feel safe in your body again, calm your system, and actually rest.

Talk Therapy with a Twist
Yes, we talk. But we also get curious. We explore patterns, beliefs, family dynamics, and all the ways you’ve been taught to ignore your own needs. We bring compassion to the parts of you that have been silenced, shamed, or pushed aside.

So… is therapy with me right for you?

If you’ve ever felt like therapy was only for “people with real problems,” I want to gently call BS on that. You deserve support even if no one else sees how hard you’re struggling. You deserve to feel good in your own body and safe in your own mind. You deserve to know that healing doesn’t mean becoming someone new, it means remembering who you were before the world told you who to be.

And if that sounds like something you’re ready to explore, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
